The Beginning of Restore
Nathan Catapano, our founder, has always been passionate about building apps to solve problems in the restaurant. Whether it was coding a custom QR code widget to scan his Chick-fil-A app from his lock screen or developing an app to instantly generate outside order taker rotations for the shift, he was constantly finding ways to improve things with an app.
As Nathan's role expanded, he found himself leading guest recovery. It didn't take long for him to realize how inefficient and frustrating the process was.
Every time a guest needed recovery, the drive-thru would grind to a halt. Screens turned red, frustrated guests waited, and Nathan flipped through a binder searching for names and resolutions. The messy handwriting and slow process made his team seem unprepared and uncaring.
Instead of delivering a gracious recovery, the system created chaos. Nathan knew that genuine care meant instantly knowing the guest, resolving the issue quickly, and delivering a remarkable recovery experience.
To achieve this, he built the Restore app, and now he's on a mission to help every store do guest recovery better.
